What Happens When You Get in Touch

Your message goes to Kila, not to a front desk. She owns the practice and she is the only injector in it, so the person who replies to your text is the person who will be holding the syringe. Most enquiries get an answer the same day, and most consultations are booked within a few days rather than a few weeks.

Consultations are free and there is no obligation attached to them. Kila will look at what is actually bothering you, talk through which treatments would and would not help, and put together a plan built around your goals and your budget. If she does not think a treatment is right for you, she will say so. Thirty-seven years of nursing tends to make a person direct.

Before your appointment

• Skip blood-thinning medicines and supplements for seven days beforehand if you can — aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E all raise the chance of bruising.
• Leave alcohol alone for the twenty-four hours before an injectable appointment.
• Come with a clean face if that is practical. Makeup is not a dealbreaker.
• Bring your questions. Consultation time is yours and there is no rush on it.

Everything is by appointment, which is what lets the schedule bend. Early mornings before work, a lunch hour, an evening, a weekend, and the occasional Sunday when someone's schedule genuinely leaves no other option. Ask for the time you need rather than the time you think is on offer.
